The year was 1964 and the TV show Jeopardy makes it debuts on television.
Troop 185 once again will have our own version...

    We celebrate the scouts birthdays on the third meeting each month.

    Communication Merit Badge

    Tuesday March 9th the Agawam School committee Meeting at the Agawam Middle School at 7:PM. All Scouts are asked to attend, we will met there and sit together, see MR Duquette, MR Prinie or MR Cross. This is our Tuseday Merit Badge Meeting. Thank you!

    Requirement
    10. Attend a public meeting (city council, school board, debate) approved by your counselor where several points of view are given on a single issue. Practice active listening skills and take careful notes of each point of view. Present an objective report that includes all points of view that were expressed, and share this with your counselor.

    Once again, the friends of Troop 185 is running a fund raiser for the scout program.
    Everyone on the bus will be given adult beverages a cracker barrel and bottle water.
    Friends of Troop 185 also will have on the trip raffles and "FREE" BINGO for cash prizes.

    Troop 185 attended Scout Sunday February 21, 2010.
    All Scouts who were able to attend Scout Sunday will recieve the 2010 participation patch.
    This is a very nice-looking emblem featuring Joseph Csatari artwork.
    Summer Camp Leaders Orientation Meetings
    Summer Camp Dates are July 18-24, 2010

    All summer camp Scoutmasters and their assistants and parents are invited to attend the kick-off to the summer season Orientation Meetings.

    The meetings will include the following:

    Distribution and review of the 2010 Troop Leaders Guide.
    Initial sign-up for all
  • Summit activities
  • Horses
  • Caving at Chimney Mountain
  • White water rafting.
  • Updates to programs and advancement opportunities
  • Information on web based activities and advancement registration

    The meetings will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, 7:30 PM at Combe, Inc. in White Plains, NY
