Floor

The church is doing the floor over by the kitchen ( For the next Three Weeks) we have been asked and will comply to stay out of that area. We will not use the kitchen, we will not use the stairway going down to the basement from the kitchen, we will enter through Davis hall and we will go into the basement from the stairway in back.

We will be staying out of that area. Yes we will, thank you!
New Scouts

WELCOME Troy and Joshua

Two Webelos scouts are joining Troop 185. Their names are Troy C. and Joshua B. both are from Agawam.
We would like to welcome them to our scouting family...
Crossover date is on our Scout Sunday February 21, 2010
MR. Cross is waiting on some details from Pack 77, will keep you posted.
Gettysburg Trip

Gettysburg Campout with Troop 22 from Terry Town, NY.
We spoke with Troop 22 Scoutmaster MR. Silvia and he offers his salutation.
Troop 22 has ten scouts committed to the event.
Both troops are looking forward to this amazing trip.
We are right on track with all the planning for this event.

Everyone on the bus will be given adult beverages a cracker barrel and bottle water.
Friends of Troop 185 also will have on the trip raffles and "FREE" BINGO for cash prizes.

	Hi Dave!  We wanted to take the time to say a big THANK YOU 
	for putting on another wonderful Pinewood Derby Clinic for Pack 77.  
	I heard many parents last night say that they could not have built 
	a car without the knowledge and help that Troop 185 gave them.  
	Many of our scouts had no idea what is involved with building 
	a derby car and they certainly loved the opportunity to win some Legos!  
	Please be sure to pass on our thanks to your scouts, 
	and the parents and leaders who helped to make last night's event a HUGE success.  
	If there is anything our Pack can do for you, please let us know.

Summer Camp Leaders Orientation Meetings


All summer camp Scoutmasters and their assistants are invited to attend the kick-off to the summer season Orientation Meetings.

The meetings will include the following:

Distribution and review of the 2010 Troop Leaders’ Guide.
Initial sign-up for all
  • Summit activities
  • Horses
  • Caving at Chimney Mountain
  • White water rafting.
  • Updates to programs and advancement opportunities
  • Information on web based activities and advancement registration

    The meetings will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, 7:30 PM at Combe, Inc. in White Plains, NY
