We are staying at the Greenough Scout Reservation Greenough Pond a perfect setting to canoe or kayak around the amazing camp setting, enjoy. We are going to utilize the facilities, programs and equipment of Camp Greenough. It is an excellent place for for our two troops to enjoy the great outdoors and practice their skills.
Greenough Pond:
Rentals $25.00 per water craftCanoe (includes two paddles and two personal floatation devices each)
Kayaks (includes paddles and one personal floatation device each)
Leaders must have Safe Swim & Safety Afloat Training.

FISHING
Massachusetts fishing license is required by those would need one.You will need to get a license for anyone over 15 years old.

Things You'll Need for a Massachusetts fishing license
Greenough Pond is fresh water with catch and release known for Bass;
Please bring your own equipment, we will have our own tackle to assit scouts.
TIP Each fishing license is only valid during a calendar year.
Even if you buy your fishing license in November, it will still expire at the end of December of the same year.
Did you know?
You cannot qualify for a lobster permit unless you are a Massachusetts resident or you are a non-resident who owns at least $5000 of real estate in Massachusetts.
